Established in the Griffin Inn, Lisvane in December 1977
by William Ricketts, Lisvane Cricket Club began its existence by playing
friendly cricket matches throughout South Wales and the west of England.
Growth since those times sees the current Club run four Saturday league
sides, a midweek league team and sides at U9, U11, U13 and U15 levels. Adult
and youth sides also compete in indoor cricket and the Club has attained
the ECB's ClubMark Accreditation award.
New players of all ages are encouraged to get in touch and take part in
our various coaching and winter net activities.
Marlboro Sports was established
in 1977 by Arthur J Nurse with just one team. 25 years on this Club
now has around 300 playing members in 16 teams and lots boys and girls in
our Development Centre. This is now one of the biggest amateur Football
Clubs in the area. There are over thirty volunteers

Llanedeyrn Bulldogs is a community football club which was established in 2000. We
play in the Cardiff and District League and are affiliated to the South
Wales Football association. The community ethos is very much at the heart
of the Club and we have strong links with all Primary Schools, the High School, church and Police in
our locality. We currently run 7 teams with ages ranging from 6 to 12 years (around 100+ children).
The teams are well supported by parents and coaching well structured with the emphasis on
fitness, increasing all abilities and, most importantly, all children having fun.
All our coaches are FAW qualified and have undertaken children welfare and first aid courses.
All coaches, players and parents have signed Codes of Conduct ensuring that we all
adhere to the philosophy of the Club.

AFC Whitchurch 2007 is the mini section of AFC
Whitchurch YC.
We now have three Under 10 squads (Yellows, Reds and Blues) and one
full Under 8 playing in the SA Brain Cardiff and District mini league,
but are always on the lookout for new players, coaches and volunteer
help.
Whitchurch Rangers FC play in the Cardiff and District
Football League. We aim to grow and field teams of players of all ages,
minis, juniors, seniors, veterans people who want to learn, play and enjoy
football.
Our Aim - Football for all is our aim, from development squads (U7) through
mini (U8 to U11), junior (U12 to U14) and youth (U15+) teams to Senior and
veteran players, boys and girls our objective is to bring together teams
that first and foremost enjoy their football.
Does that mean we do not want to win? Of course not! But we believe that
'healthy competition' be just that. To win is a desired outcome - nobody
plays a game to lose. But neither is a desired outcome a be all and end
all.
